What's On - May

As Sci-Fi-London draws to a close for another year, it's a relatively quiet month for events in the capital, as we all move slowly, from spring into summer.

Still if it's animation you like, then look no further than the Animate The World festival at the Barbican, Anime Weekend at the BFI, plus the London Expo at Excel centre.

There's also re-makes, sequels and films of games out in cinemas, the Terracotta Far East Film Festival, plus a spookily coincidental talk on amphibians in global decline (given this years SFL festival theme): It is predicted that the dangerous chytrid fungus infection could contribute to the possible extinction of half of the world's amphibians by 2050.

Thought provoking stuff.
