Tor-Forge, publishers of some of the best science fiction and fantasy, are plugging a new website at www.tor.com.

When it launches they hope to mix news, commentary, original stories and art, your own comments and conversations, and more but, until it does, if you sign up for their newsletter you get to download a free book each week as well as free wallpapers from bestselling and award-winning SF and fantasy authors and artists.

The current free book is 'In the Garden of Iden' by Kage Baker. The next book will be In the Midnight Hour by Patti O'Shea.
