Naruto Unleashed 4.1
It's easy to see why this series is so popular: mouthy outsider with ninja skills combined with a very high level of 2D animation that is sadly lacking on today's kids' TV. For those brought up on Pokemon or Beyblade, the whole shouting out the power they are about to invoke will seem pretty normal, although it does seem to go against the stealth aspect of being a ninja. Maybe that's why Naruto and pals are still students.Part one of season four (episodes 79 to 91) of the series is out on DVD on August 24.
In the battle-torn Hidden Leaf Village, the Third Hokage and the Leaf ninjas are making their final stand against Orochimaru and his minions. In the aftermath of Orochimaru's attack, the village is in mourning, but the life of a ninja goes on. As an eager Naruto departs on a training mission with Jiraiya to find a legendary kunoichi, two unwelcome visitors arrive in town. But who are these strangers and why does Sasuke suspect trouble? More importantly, why are they looking for Naruto?
That will all make sense to fans of the series, at whom this release is aimed. If you are new to the series then it is advisable to go to the beginning of season one to find out the who, why and wherefores. This release doesn't have much in the way of extras apart from some trailers and the original Japanese dub with English subtitles.
NARUTO UNLEASHED 4:1 will be released on DVD by Manga Entertainment on August 24 and is available from major retailers including Amazon
