Bruce and Lloyd: Out of Control - Win a DVD

Anyone who has already seen the hilarious Steve Carell take on the iconic 60s' spy comedy GET SMART, can't help but not be impressed by, and sympathetic towards, the two nerdy, techy guys Bruce and Lloyd, especially in their heroic attempt to help Max escape. In what is an industry first, Warner Home Video have produced a companion DVD feature about the two geeky heroes as a complement to the theatrical release, namely GET SMART’S BRUCE AND LLOYD: OUT OF CONTROL.

What promises to be a hilarious spin-off (no review disks were available at the time of writing), not only shares writing honours (courtesy of Tom J Astle and Matt Ember) with GET SMART, but some key cast members namely Masi Oka (Hiro from Heroes) and Nate Torrence (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) in the titular roles. They are joined by Jayma Mays (Ugly Betty, Epic Movie) and Anne Hathaway, who makes a cameo appearance as Agent 99, It is directed by Gil Junger (10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU)

In this movie, the hapless pair, who are R+D staffers at CONTROL providing tech gadgets for Agent 86, manage to lose an invisibility cloak whilst showing it off at the office party. It’s down to them to find it double quick before it falls into the hands of KAOS, and the Chief fires them.

GET SMART’S BRUCE AND LLOYD: OUT OF CONTROL will premiere on DVD on 1 September 2008, just 10 days after the theatrical release of GET SMART. It is available from major retailers including Amazon and Play.
