It’s here! We finally have a festival pass, only took 20 years!
For eight days we present a collection of fabulous new science fiction and fantastic film, along with talks, workshops and our in-famous cosplay for dogs; SCI-FIDO.
With so many calling for ‘social distancing’, we want to encourage ‘social cohesion’ so we have introduced our very first ‘proper’ festival passes and hope to see you for the whole event! Come hang out at our festival where filmmakers and fans alike come together. SCI-FI-LONDON is an inclusive safe-space, no matter which planet you come from.
For the 2020 festival, we plan on at least 20 screenings, showing both features and shorts, including the Opening Night Film & Reception on 13 May and Closing Night Gala on 20 May.
Our programming team are still hard at work selecting the line-up, but we will have our usual eclectic mix of new SciFi film, smart docs and incredible shorts. We will also be holding a special anniversary screening of HACKERS (1995) with some special guests!
We promise not to sell more passes than we have seats, so get a pass, you have a seat!
We have two types of pass available.
The ELITE PASS guarantees you a seat at all screenings and priority entrance.
ELITE pass-holders will also get some exclusive festival goodies, including a limited-edition festival teeshirt
You also have a seat at the Opening and Closing Night screenings and an invitation to all our parties, including our 48hr Challenge Awards Night!
This pass gets you into everything except the Opening and Closing Night screenings and does not include an invitation to our parties.
You also get a limited-edition metal badge and a few other festival goodies.
Each day we will also pick two Pass-holders at random and give them free drinks! So book now!
AND IF YOU BUY BEFORE 20 MARCH 2020, YOU GET 20% DISCOUNT
Each pass guarantees you a seat at each screening time.
You must be in the queue 20 minutes before the beginning of each screening to have your seat guaranteed, and you must be wearing your pass. All pass-holders will be seated before any individual ticket-holders. If you arrive after the 20-minutes-prior time, you will have to go to the end of the General Admission line. The people in the General Admission line will be buying individual tickets to the screening and filling any empty seat.
Passes are transferable but irreplaceable. After you collect your pass, you can give it to anyone you like. Can’t make it to a screening? Give your pass to a friend. Just be sure to get it back before you want to attend. No pass-holder will be allowed into a screening without their pass.
Passes can only be collected by the person designated at the time of purchase, in person. They will not be sent via mail. Passes will be available for pickup before our first screening on 13 May. They will continue to be available for pickup throughout the run of the festival until our final screening on 20 May 2020.
If you are purchasing the pass for another person, they must be named on your order. If you are unsure of who will be using the purchased pass, please buy it under your name, and we will write their name on it. You can also contact our registration desk (firstname.lastname@example.org) before Tuesday, 12 May 2020, with a copy of the receipt and let us know the name you’d like to have on it. If you are purchasing multiple passes on one order, they must be picked up by the individual who made the order and handed out to the members of your party after pickup. Passes can only be picked up by the person named at purchase time.
All sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. Passes purchased are only applicable to the 2020 festival
All purchasers will be added to our mailing list so you can follow any news about the festival (you can unsubscribe at any time).
By purchasing a pass, you and anyone receiving a pass from this order are agreeing to the above policy without exception. In regards to all issues not expressly provided for in this policy or which require interpretation of the policy, the decisions of the authorities or the designated representative shall be binding on all parties.
