Sound of My Voice

Sound of My Voice

When we got offered the chance to screen this in the festival, we couldnt pass it by. So a very late, but welcome addition to the line-up.

The fabulous Brit Marling who starred and co-wrote ANOTHER EARTH, which we screened last Oktoberfest, again co-writes a grown-up smart and superb FX-free sci-fi.

In SOUND OF MY VOICE, Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius)play a couple who make documentary films. The plan is to infiltrate a mysterious group led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie(Brit Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the followers from her grip. But after a time, Peter is starting to be swayed toward Maggie. Lorna starts to question their objective and each other as they unravel the secrets of Maggie's underworld.

If you saw TOTAL FILM this is one of their 12 films NOT TO MISS this year. See it first at the Apollo and SCI-FI-LONDON.
