SCI-FI-LONDON heads to Stratford (9-11 Nov)

It's Post-ApocOlympic time! Your favourite festival heads out to Stratford for a weekend dedicated to the end-of-the-world!
Following a summer of sport, it is time to welcome the end of the world! Join us for a weekend of fantastic film in post-olympic Stratford at the wonderful Picturehouse Cinema.

We have some superb films selected for this special event and of course our notorious all-nighters.

Tickets and timetable will be online next week, but in the meantime, clear your diary for Friday 9th - Sun 11th November...

Films confirmed include:

The Human Race
UK PREMIERE of Paul Hough's THE HUMAN RACE. We loved his short, The Angel, in fact it won Best Short the year we screened it. This is an amazing film - dont miss it!
Crazy and Thief
Cory McAbee's CRAZY AND THIEF - and live show
. If you loved AMERICAN ASTRONAUT and STINGRAY SAM, get ready for Cory's latest movie. Crazy & Thief has its UK premiere with us, ahead of a UK tour by the man himself. Not only do we screen the movie but Cory will be there for a Q&A and an after-show performance.
Director's Cut screening of METAMORPHOSIS
. This brand new version, and very true to the story, of Kakfa's most famous work comes to the big screen from British director, Chris Swanton. Starring Maureen Lipman and Robert Pugh, we are delighted to be the first place in the world to screen the final director's version ahead of its wider release.
Carre Blanc
. We wanted this for the main festival in May this year, but things conspired against us. We are delighted to now have it for SFL:EAST. This is a wonderfully bleak and stunning movie.
. We are delighted to show this tense thriller - you will feel claustrophobic!

Alongside the movies, we have two allnighters for you.

Anime All Nighter
The Anime All-nighter includes:

Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below and TIGER and BUNNY the movie!

MST3K All Nighter
and it wouldnt be SCI-FI-LONDON without a dose of MST3k... 5 movies including the chance to see TIME CHASERS again!

See you there!
