SILBERSALZ FESTIVAL X SFL: CLIMATICA

SUN 4 JUNE, 5.00 PM – PICTUREHOUSE CENTRAL

In partnership with The Silbersalz Science and Media Festival (Halle, Germany), we present CLIMATICA

Join us for an night that combines cinema, expert insights, and audience participation to confront the pressing issue of the climate crisis.

From the mesmerizing dance language in “Homing Instinct” to the transformative power of wellness in “Spa Sybarite,” each film offers a unique perspective on our relationship with the environment. Witness the impermanence of nature in “Time Tourists” and embark on a surreal journey through “Tomorrow is a Water Palace,” where a lone protagonist yearns to restore balance to a barren world.

Following the film programme, we will lead a dynamic and inclusive discussion on the challenges of climate change and our collective responsibility. Gain valuable insights, explore potential solutions, and actively participate by sharing your thoughts and questions.

Guests include Lydia Dean Pilcher.  Lydia is a two time Emmy winning, Oscar nominated producer and founder of New York production company Cine Mosaic, working in the international landscape of cinema and multicultural storytelling.
