HENRY CHEBAANE - CREATOR SIGNING

THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES: GHOSTS OF SOUND”  – EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW FOR SCI-FI LONDON.

Following the positive launch of Vol.1 TIMES OF LONDON at SFL 2023, Vol.2 GHOSTS OF SOUND, the next book in the series written by Henry Chebaane, will feature its first instalment with a collectable limited-edition cover illustrated by Sci-Fi Milanese artist Fabio Jacomelli (Agenzia Alfa, Nathan Never).

The striking interior pages have been masterfully illustrated in full colour by Stephen Baskerville, the veteran British artist renowned for his Sci-Fi art (Judge Dredd, Transformers), and responsible for Vol.1 of The Panharmonion Chronicles: Times of London.

Copies of “Times of London” and “Ghosts of Sound – part.1” will be available for sale at the festival.

Author Henry Chebaane will be on site for signings over the weekend.

This highly anticipated second volume comes two years after the author published his acclaimed debut graphic novel THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES: Times of London, an epic steampunk Sci-fi saga set in an alternative, yet uncannily familiar, King’s Cross between 1864 and 2024.

Readers familiar with the series will continue to enjoy this original, gritty blend of science fiction, horror and alternative history spiced with occasional wry humour and philosophical musings.

GHOSTS OF SOUND has been written as a self-contained story and will be fully published in Winter 2025 by SUPANOVA MEDIA.

SYNOPSIS:
This story continues the extraordinary adventures of time-travelling musician Alex Campbell, started in TIMES OF LONDON, the first volume of THE PANHARMONION CHRONICLES.

The action now takes place between Scotland and Nova Scotia in 1881.

Born from the ashes of the American Civil War and the activities of European colonial powers, the Republic of Varangia is now on a brutal conquest of Eastern Canada and beyond. Nothing seems able to stand in their path as they seek their manifest destiny, led by President Godwin Deblanc and the mystical order of the Immaculate Oblati.

As they extend their reach, Varangia and its dominions are being turned into a patriarchal religious supremacy enabled by social control, wanton resource extraction and a powerful military-industrial complex.  Indigenous populations and non-white immigrants are treated as expendable commodities for cheap labour and much worse.

When Alex stands up to protect a group of trafficked women and children, she starts a chain of events that could have dreadful consequences for her and the people she seeks to protect. She now finds herself facing multiple threats and new horrors, the likes of which she could have never imagined.
